Starhotels E.c.ho. – Ecological Contemporary Hotel – is one of Milan’s first hotels designed to meet the needs of a cosmopolitan and environmentally conscious clientele. The hotel is located in one of the city’s most strategic spots, just 100 meters from Milan Central Station and within walking distance of the skyscrapers of the new Porta Nuova skyline, the historic city center, and key cultural, shopping, and entertainment attractions. At Starhotels E.c.ho., every detail is carefully planned to ensure guests enjoy a relaxing and efficient stay.

For the creation of the hotel’s corporate video, Starhotels chose Bottegacinema, which managed the entire project: from the creative concept to organizing the production and finalizing the editing. The shooting took place over two days at the hotel’s premises, with Stefano Morcaldo serving as both director and director of photography.

The video begins with an aerial view of Milan’s Central Station, while the voiceover guides you: “Milan, the place where everything is in motion.” This opening scene immediately highlights the hotel’s strategic location, right in the heart of the city. Shortly after, the camera follows a man as he enters the hotel.

His silhouette stands out against the modern, bright entrance, while the voiceover continues: “Right here, in the best place to stay.” The man approaches the reception desk and is greeted with a smile by the receptionist. In the foreground, we see a flyer titled “Beyond Green” being offered to him, a clear reference to the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. The narration adds: “Beyond simple sustainability…”

We then move outside, where some people are seated at the garden tables, surrounded by greenery and relaxation. A waitress serves with kindness. The atmosphere is one of pure comfort, while the voiceover continues: “Beyond simple comfort…” The man explores the hotel’s common areas, with natural light flooding through the windows, making the interiors feel like one with the outside. We see a mother and child playing, a moment of family calm. The man sits on the veranda, surrounded by plants and light, while the voiceover says: “From the true essence of human nature…”

At this point, the camera lingers on refined details: bicycles and scooters parked in the garden, symbols of sustainable mobility, and glimpses of the eco-friendly furniture that enrich the hotel’s interiors. The narration reflects: “A new dimension of ecology…” The next scene takes us to the heart of art within the hotel: focus on works like “Il Volatore” and the striking “Constellation Bonsai,” lit up in the evening. The voiceover continues: “…and its history.” Meanwhile, we see the protagonist in a modern, welcoming meeting room, as he holds a meeting. The camera quickly captures several meeting rooms, showcasing the versatility of the available spaces. Shortly after, a zoom on the coffee station highlights the use of “green” materials, while the narration emphasizes: “Cutting-edge technology, designed for human well-being and our environment.”

The video then moves to the fitness area, where the man pedals on a stationary bike, with the Milan skyline in the background. On the outdoor terrace, two women practice yoga in a scene that radiates serenity. “Taking care of yourself, without compromise,” says the voiceover. “In a sustainable way, supporting the local area. And beyond.” Finally, the shot lingers on the hotel suite, bathed in soft light. The man walks barefoot on a porcelain stoneware floor with a parquet effect, symbolizing sustainable luxury. The voiceover narrates: “From the most advanced materials to water that respects the environment.”

The final scene shows the man relaxing on the bed in the suite, while a staff member brings him breakfast made with local, high-quality products. The fresh morning air flows in through the window, as the voiceover concludes: “Not just green. Beyond. E.C.H.O.”

The video ends with a black background, displaying the hotel’s sustainable initiatives: projects like “Too Good To Go” and “Beyond Green” certifications, highlighting the hotel’s commitment to a more responsible future.
